JOHN MACCORMACK (Lead guitar, bass, vocals)

John has been a performing musician in Kelowna since his youth. He is part of a musical family which traveled extensively throughout Western Canada in the 70's as the popular entertainment and recording band known as Shamash. They started out at Expo 74 in Spokane and carried on for another ten years. They became one of the most popular show and dance bands on the road from Saskatchewan to B.C. John came back to Kelowna to settle down to family life, but kept his musical energy alive with such bands as Fancy That, High Henry, Connection and later Take 5. Past and present, these involvements led to the formation of the popular Johnny Mac Trio and Glory Days Duo.

LINDA MACCORMACK (Keyboard, vocals)

Linda is a Calgary native, also part of a musical family. She taught organ and keyboard in Calgary as well as Kelowna for several years. She performed as a soloist and in various groups such as Sunflower, Take 5, Connection. Caught up in the amazing sounds & features of electronic keyboards & MIDI technology since the '80's to the present, she plays  the most recent year 2000 kbds. Authentic drum traks and instrument sounds, she can emulate full orchestral  back-up appropriate to most music styles.  Real piano, organ, strings, brass, synth, bass, vocal - the result is captivating - inspiring, & REAL!  The sound is of many musicians  - not just 1 or 2. Classic Rock & standards, ballads, country, contemporary pop, Latin - the repertoire is varied & can be suited to many themes ( such as a Hawaiian nite, 50's rock, country dance)  Song selection is adaptable and appeals to all ages & most music tastes.

Knowledgeable, experienced, talented, affordable - never too loud, friendly & approachable - guaranteed to  make your special event fun & memorable!! E-mail for more info - based in Kelowna B.C. and avail. in the Okanagan Valley -

What they say-------------------

"Hi folks , I thought you did a great job at our wedding , you provide a good service and a good Varity of music................ Feedback from people that attended the wedding was all positive everyone had a good time and enjoyed the dancing . Once again thanks for your service ." (Brian  & Tracey W. wedding Sept 06/ Duffer's Kelowna)

"Hi Linda! I wanted to thank you so much for being part of the anniversary party. It couldn't have gone any better. I really appreciated how flexible you were (i.e. playing for the "walk down the isle," talking to the minister, playing during dinner, etc.!). I think you guys really gave the evening a great "mood" and it was easy to get up and dance. I think in the end, everyone had the urge, at least once, to get up and dance! I sincerely appreciate all your help throughout the process, especially with suggestions of where to get help for the party and your continuous updates up until the event! Thanks again Linda, you guys were amazing. My Aunty Terry even asked about having you to a party of theirs! Keep up the good work and great music!" Sincerely, Tricia  (October 7/06 Anniversary Party Benvoulin Hall Kelowna)

"The music made the party! You did a GREAT job! THANK-YOU!! I have your web-site and I will tell others about you."  Mrs. A. B. 60th wedding anniversary, July 1st 2007

"Hello Linda and John,        Wow, was that great or what   Everyone at the party loved the music you played I have not seen my mom dance in years and it was like she could not sit still. We all had a fabulous time and thank you for that. It was a beautiful afternoon and evening for this event. To have you play in the backyard was fun for everyone. Even my neighbours came out to listen.      I can hardly wait until the next event! "         The Bryan family (Sept.15,2007)

"Everyone enjoyed the live music, which included lots of variety that made getting out on the dance floor really easy! Look forward to possible future events."   Cheers,                          Keith    Kelowna Curling Club  November 07
